One bedroom is to the right of the entry hall. It has a queen bed, two bedside cupboards, a large closet. It is a terrific, bright room.

The large en suite bathroom has a claw foot bathtub and a separate shower and double sinks.

The large eat-in kitchen is at the back of the cottage reached via the front hallway. It has the best appliances, a painted cupboard to hold kitchen necessities and a long mahogany table that will seat 8 comfortably. It's a country kitchen without the clichés.

From the kitchen, a long corridor runs the width of the cottage. Along this hallway, there is a bathroom that has a stone-floored shower. At the end of this hall there's a door to the outside so that you can come in with beach all over you and wash off in the hallway shower.

The second bedroom is at the end of that hallway, near the door. It's a large bedroom that has a king bed that can be converted to twin beds and a smaller bed so that a young child can stay with parents, if desired. excellent storage. The hall bathroom serves this bedroom.

Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms. One is an has an open plan bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a king bed that can be converted to twin beds, an antique dresser and bedside table. The has bathroom has a tub with shower over tub and a little room with a door for the toilet.

The other bedroom has a bed, built-in shelves, excellent storage. The bathroom shown is for one of the two upstairs bedrooms.

The front garden is covered with stones and gravel in the European manner. There's a teak table and chairs so you can dine al fresco and look at the sea. The land at the sides and back of the cottage has rocky outcroppings and mature trees. You can see that in the photos below. It's idyllic.

The rear garden is wild and wonderful.

Children are warmly welcomed here. Pets are not allowed. This is a non-smoking property. Additional cleaning or a cook can be arranged directly with the service provider.

Connemara Rental Seaside Cottage - Bay View

Ballyconnelly Golf Course is 20 km/12 miles from the cottage. The terrific village of Clifden is 7 km/4 miles.

Clifden, the jewel of the Connemara, is a lively and friendly place with excellent restaurants, authentic pubs and very nice shops - including a high-end grocery store. It is an excellent base for touring the gorgeous and haunting area called the Connemara. The beaches are beautiful, empty and clean. At every turn, you'll see glorious mountain scenery. There are Irish craft shops, many ancient Celtic sites and places to ramble in the Twelve Bens Mountains. This is home to the famous Connemara ponies and you will see them spotting the landscapes. This is an exciting part of Ireland.. County Mayo, just to the north, is beautiful. There's lots of golf, of course, and we can tell you all about that.

	This is a perfect seaside cottage. It is an old fisherman's cottage that has recently been completely renovated with taste and vision. The refinements have not interfered with the impression you'll have from those old days. We last saw this cottage just before the interior was finished, but it was easy to imagine the finished product since these people have two other cottages on our site, Jessica's and Shane's and both are beautiful. We took the exterior photos, but Shane took the interior photos for us and we'll use them until we return to see the completed inside of the cottage.
