| THE
MANOR HOUSE Accommodates 8 + 2 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, 1 guest powder room This beautiful 18th
century Georgian house is set on twelve lush acres in the rolling
hills of the lush Lee Valley in West Cork. The
house is welcoming, gracious and architecturally
interesting. It has been beautifully restored, yet the creative
owners have been careful to retain the original character and
charm. We have been here several times and it is always a special
place.

| One enters a wide, gracious center hall that has fine antique furniture. At the back of the hall is the original graceful staircase and, above the stairs, two beautiful stained glass windows. |

The drawing
room is formal and elegant, but very comfortable and
warm. Two reddish sofas flank the large marble fireplace.
An antique tapestry hangs on the back
wall. A grand piano is a corner of the room, under a large
guilt-framed mirror and between two very large
windows. A beautiful antique roll top desk and chair are in
another corner. Several comfortable wing chairs provide more
seating. A rich antique Dhurrie rug lies on the dark wood
floors. Windows
look onto the manicured grounds.

The
large billiard room
has a full-size billiard table, the original marble fireplace, an
ornate chandelier. Wonderful photos taken by the talented owner,
John, adorn the walls. There are several comfortable chairs. This
room is especially popular after dinner to enjoy a
friendly game of billiards and a glass of port. Please note
that this games room is now being converted to two bedrooms that will
accommodate four more people. We
are keeping this info about the games room on the page until the
conversion is finished and we have photos for you. Stay tuned. |

The dining room seats 12
comfortably at a long mahogany table. Walls are white.
There is a
fireplace, a lovely red and blue Oriental rug over the wood floors. A
sideboard holds
serving items. A large painting and more of John's beautiful
photographs hang on the wall. Double French doors open onto the
stone patio and the gardens.

The large, informal kitchen has a stove and a wall oven as well. There is a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, the washer and dryer and a microwave. A farmhouse table 6 for breakfast. Cabinets are painted a brisk white and the counter tops are butcher block wood. The ceiling is very tall; one wall has a high window that lets in morning sunlight. A door opens to a utility porch and then to the grounds. |

The 4-Poster Bedroom has a larger-than-queen-size Louis XV canopy bed and regal furnishings that include a white vanity table and mirror, an easy chair, a decorative Victorian iron fireplace. The large en suite bathroom has a tub and shower over tub. |  |
| THE
COACH HOUSE Accommodates 6 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom, 1 powder room There is an beautifully-renovated attached annexe which was once the house's scullery and servants’ quarters, then a coach house. It is available as "spillover" from the larger house or can be rented on its own. |

formal than the house, it is, nevertheless, very stylish and
comfortable,
decorated in a farmhouse style. The owners did the renovation
themselves
and their skill and excellent taste is evident in the many touches
throughout the
rooms. |

Enter
through a great old
wood door into the open-plan space. It has comfortable,
attractive,
contemporary furniture done in browns and beige. A fireplace adds
warmth and the large window lets in sunlight and views of the patio and
the lush landscape beyond.
The large kitchen area is modern, but in keeping with the farmhouse decor. The dining area accommodates 8 Comfortably. The powder room off a hallway. There is a secluded patio area in front of the coach house. |

The
staircase at the back
of the cottage goes up to three attractive bedrooms and a
bathroom. They, too, are decorated in the farmhouse style.
All three bedrooms are
comfortable and attractive and all have personality. One bedroom
has an antique standard double bed and a large window. Two
bedrooms have twin beds. All of the rooms have antiques, bright
colors, fine views.

Heating and electricity are extra, charged at cost by meter reading. Rental includes 2 hours cleaning, 5 days per week. Catering can be arranged. Mid-week and weekend short breaks are available. Enquire for pricing. Refundable security/damage deposit of €1300 is due on arrival - it can be paid by credit card. |
