for a game of bridge or chess or for just having private some private
time. This photo is not current: there are now leather sofas and

The patio and a terrace are lovely spots on which to dine al fresco. The 2-acre property has beautiful, mature gardens including a traditional knot garden. There is a wildflower meadow, an orchard and a vegetable garden (from which you are invited to pick some items for dinner). Benches dotted around the garden are perfect for a spot of reading or bird watching (many pheasants who come to visit). At night, you can hear the owls in the trees. |
