The
setting is breathtaking. The house is on the water’s edge.
You can watch the crashing waves from almost every window. There
are clear views of little grassy islands (you can walk to one of them
during
low tide). Set on 11 acres, the property is unencumbered by close
neighbors and has direct access to a sandy beach. This
is a perfect property for a large group of sea-loving people.
Upon arrival, the first impression is of the sea, its changing colors and sounds. Then one notices the sky. Then the house. |

One enters a hallway to the left of which is a large living room. It has cofortable seating for everyone - sofas and easy chairs. There are bookcases filled with china and books, a small desk. There is a stone fireplace and lots of art, most of it paintings of the sea. The view from the large bay windows is smack onto the sea. |

The large eat-in kitchen was designed for the days when this was a B&B. All stainless steel, the kitchen has professional quality appliances, but it's not intimidating or difficult. There is a smallish dining area for early risers or children's early supper. The kitchen, too, has views to the water and the rolling hillside. There's an adjacent utility room with a large freezer. |
| All
of the
bedrooms are homey and comfortable. Four bedrooms each have a
standard double
bed
and three bedroms have twin beds. All bedrooms have en suite
bathrooms except for
one that has an adjacent bathroom. The decor is warm and
bright. Floors are wood. Many have sea views. There is direct access to a sandy beach. At the front of the house, facing the sea, is a paved sitting area that used to be the car park. This is a fine spot for a barbecue, ball games, dancing, weddings or just sitting and watching the sea. |
