KNIGHTSBRIDGE
Knightsbridge was once part of a large forest of which only 600 acres remain: Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are among London's greatest jewels.  One of London's most superior areas, Knightsbridge is a mix of red brick gabled mansion blocks, early Victorian terraces and mews houses that cluster around some of the world's most famous shopping, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols.  Brompton Road and Sloane Street are a shopper's paradise with Versace, Gucci, Escada and many more.  The Brompton Oratory, Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are here.  Convenient to The West End, The Theater District, Kensington, it's a walk across Kensington Gardens to Notting Hill.  Tubes: Knightsbridge and South Kensington.
