This beautiful Georgian house is located on an estate of over 670 acres; it is a working farm.  One enters the wide front hallway that is also a comfortable, informal sitting room.  To the right is the impressive red dining room, seating ten comfortably.  To the left of the front hallway is the drawing room, elegant, but very comfortable, not at all formal.  A true country room with a cozy sitting area in front of the fireplace, books, antiques, satellite TV, video.

The large family kitchen is bright and light with views to the Slaney Estuary and Wexford town.  There is a children’s play room near the kitchen - this, too, has a satellite TV and a video.  The powder room is adjacent to the play room.

Up a winding staircase are the bedrooms, all very comfortable and lovely.  All of the bedrooms were expanded and updated last summer.  All are en suite.  We will have new  photos of the bedrooms shortly.

The garden, filled with mature flowering trees and shrubs, has garden furniture for alfresco meals.   The estate operates a large farm, separated from the house by many acres.  There are over forty acres of forest on the property and meadows in which to stroll.  Farm fresh milk is supplied daily, also cheese.  Breakfast can be arranged.  A daily cleaning of up to three hours each day is included in the rental.  Additional cleaning is available at an extra charge.  The farm manager is on site and available, if needed.

Children are warmly welcomed here.  The house has a security system, Internet and a fax.  The bedrooms are strictly non-smoking. 

Curracloe, one of Ireland's nicest beaches (Saving Private Ryan was filmed here) is nearby.  There are four 18-hole golf courses within a twenty mile radius.  Historic Wexford town has many cultural activities, including the Wexford Opera Festival.  The climate is temperate year-round.  Beach walking and golf know no season here.

A shuttle service is available from Dublin airport for €100.  Or, there is a helipad on the estate.

Rosslare is 30 minutes.  Dublin is 81 miles.  Wexford is 5 miles.  The nearest village is 2 miles.
